The First UK AI Conference ran on 24–25 May 2023 at the Natural History Museum in London. Organised by and for the Turing AI Fellows, it was the first national conference in what has become the UK AI Conference series.
Neil Lawrence co-chaired the meeting with Per Kristian Lehre, Maria Liakata and Anna Scaife. Christian Cabrera served on the programme committee. The event brought research groups from across the UK together for talks and posters on AI theory, methods and applications.
The series continues under the community building programme, with later editions organised principally by Christian.

The Accelerate Science Programme and education technology company Cambridge Spark are offering researchers across Cambridge University a new self-learning module so they can learn programming in Python.

(5 July 2022) The Accelerate Programme in collaboration with C2D3 is offering small grants for Cambridge University researchers pursuing innovative applications of AI, in research or real-world contexts. Funding can support a variety of activities, including events, workshops, teaching, software development, or research, with a focus on interdisciplinary collaboration.
