Biography
Sam is a Lecturer in Digital Health, Health Informatics and Artificial Intelligence at King’s College London. She was previously an Assistant Research Professor at the Department of Computer Science, University of Cambridge, and an AI for Science Fellow on the Accelerate Programme. She contributes to interdisciplinary research with experience in artificial intelligence, collaborating across multiple disciplines to solve real-world problems toward sustainable development goals.
Sam is passionate about supporting underrepresented groups and students from disadvantaged backgrounds. To this end, she co-founded the Sumithra foundation to support education, aiming to end child poverty, and has worked to build networks for current and future generations of female tech entrepreneurs.
