Biography
Morine is a software engineer turned data analyst, currently working with Pulse Lab Kampala. For the last 5 years, her analytics work has been dominated by social data including social media data (conducting real-time content analysis and knowledge translation research), public radio (analysing public perceptions on topics that inform the work of the SDGs) and Google search data (to reveal knowledge gaps, identify public concerns about the novel coronavirus and detect disparities in health information availability). Her research fellowship with Data Science Africa is aimed at uncovering opportunities and challenges associated with data sharing in Africa.
