Liverpool City Region AI Task Force
Jessica Montgomery has joined the new Liverpool City Region AI Task Force, an expert advisory group established to help shape the development and adoption of AI across the region.
Biography
Jessica Montgomery is Director of ai@cam and the Accelerate Programme for Scientific Discovery at the University of Cambridge. Her research examines how AI moves from technological capability into institutions and practice, and the conditions under which its adoption creates public value. Her work focuses on institutional capability for AI adoption, public dialogue and the democratic direction of technology, AI for policymaking and public institutions, and the adoption of AI in research. This builds on her experience leading major policy programmes for the UK national academies and House of Commons select committees.
