On 2 June 2020 DELVE released its Global COVID-19 Dataset — an openly licensed, research-ready consolidation of country-level data from multiple sources. Authors include Avishkar Bhoopchand, Andrei Paleyes, Kevin Donkers, Nenad Tomasev and Ulrich Paquet.
The join covers cases, deaths, tests, non-pharmaceutical interventions, excess mortality, mobility, weather and other metadata for up to 170 countries, aimed at analysts comparing international responses. A daily-updated CSV and Python API live on the covid19_datasets repository.
The release sits with the group’s DELVE programme of open tools and reports during the first year of the pandemic.
